RI ASA League/Tournament Scheduling

RIASA SPRING TRAVEL LEAGUE
The RIASA Spring Travel League is being offered once again in 2015, The league will be made up of both recreational league class B travel teams, and class A + B travel programs. In order to be eligble to enter a team, all players must be registered/insured with ASA. Recreational League class B travel teams must contain players that register and play in an ASA Recreational league. Class A + B travel teams must come from a travel organization that registers/insures all their teams with ASA. Games will be held on Sundays beginning April 5th and running through June. The schedule will consist of double header games each Sunday.Teams that wish to enter this league are not commited to playing every Sunday, or two games every Sunday, should they choose not to. TEAM RHODE ISLAND 2015 - 14U CLASS "A"
A team representing Rhode Island at the ASA/USA 14U Class "A" National Tournament being held in Salem, VA, July26th - August 2nd, 2015, is presently being formed. This team will play in one tournament only in 2015, prospective players will be selected via "invitation only" tryouts. The final roster will be announced on June, 1st, 2015. In preperation for the National Tournament, plans are for this team to play a series of exhibition games against premier travel teams in the 16U and 18U divisions. Practices and exhibition games will be held weeknights so as not to interfere with player's schedules on the travel team that they are rostered on. The coaching staff for this team is presently being assembled, three
of the four coaches on the staff of team Rhode Island have been named, they are Chuck McCaughy, Tom Bartone, and Maria Morin.
